New Delhi, Jan 20 (IANS) Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan was
impressed by the endeavour of nine-year-old Aishwarya Sharma, the
youngest ever to file a Right to Information (RTI) query for removal
of a garbage disposal site in front of her school.Abhishek met his
young fan in the capital during the CNN IBN Citizen Journalist awards
ceremony Wednesday night, where Aishwarya along with 16 other people
were awarded for their courageous endeavours that have brought a
change in the system.
"First of all, I would like to say that she (Aishwarya) is as
beautiful as her namesake and I am proud of her. She is far more
courageous than we are and is an inspiration for all of us," said
Abhishek, who was the chief guest at the programme.
A class three student, Aishwarya from Lucknow had filed an RTI query
for removal of a garbage disposal site in front of her school.
Remarkably, her initiative resulted in the cease of garbage dumping
and a public library has been constructed in that place.
However, when she was called on stage, Aishwarya looked more excited
about taking Abhishek's autograph rather than accepting her trophy.
The young girl even told him that she was a huge fan of his wife and
actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, to which he candidly replied: "I am
also a great fan, but of this Aishwarya (pointing towards the girl)."
The Bachchan family is known for its generosity, a characteristic
which was quite evident in Abhishek during the programme whether it
was helping the elderly winners walk up and down the stage after
presenting them with the award or touching their feet for blessings or
showing affection towards young awardees.
At the end of the ceremony, Abhishek said: "I feel very blessed and
humbled to lead the life that I do after knowing the kind of troubles
people go through but at the same time the positivity with which they
deal with troubles is very motivating."
"Their zest for life is infectious. The kind of initiatives that these
people from very young to adults is very inspirational. Whatever I can
do in my capacity, I pledge today I would love to help in whichever
way possible," he added.
The awards ceremony would be telecast Jan 26.

It seems that Bollywood hero Abhishek Bachchan was pleasantly
surprised by a nine-year-old girl. Abhishek Bachchan had recently
attended an award ceremony that felicitated sixteen people for taking
up a cause. Abhishek was the chief guest of the programme. The
initiative was an effort by CNN IBN Citizen Journalist awards that
decided to honour individuals that had the courage to stand up for a
cause. Abhishek was delighted when he came to know about the
initiative of a nine-year-old girl named Aishwarya Sharma, who filed
the Right to Information (RTI). Aishwarya wanted an answer for the
garbage disposal site near her school. All of the sixteen individuals
showed great courage to stand up against the system and raised
questions.
Abhishek remarked that he found the young Aishwarya to be beautiful
and then he went on to say that he was extremely proud of her.
Abhishek further added that the little girl displayed great courage
and has been an inspiration to the masses.
Aishwarya is a resident of Lucknow and is a student of class three.
Her efforts did not get wasted as the garbage disposal site has been
removed and a public library has been constructed at its place.
Aishwarya was elated to get an autograph of the star and commented
that she is a huge fan of Abhishek's wife Aishwarya Rai.
Abhishek displayed humility when he helped the elderly winners with
their awards. Abhishek showered love on the youngsters and showed his
respect to the elderly people by touching their feet.
Do not forget to catch the award ceremony on January 26.

Nine yr old Aishwarya inspires Abhishek
No this time Abhishek Bachchan is not inspired by his wife Aishwarya
Rai Bachchan but by a nine yr old student Aishwarya Sharma from
Lucknow who along with 16 won the CNN IBN Citizen Journalist awards
ceremony Wednesday night. Aishwarya Sharma becomes the youngest ever
to file a Right to Information (RTI) query for removal of a garbage
disposal site in front of her school.
Abhishek Bachchan who was present at the event as a chief guest was
motivated by Aishwarya. He said, 'First of all, I would like to say
that she (Aishwarya) is as beautiful as her namesake and I am proud of
her. She is far more courageous than we are and is an inspiration for
all of us,'
Aishwarya, a class three student from Lucknow school filed a RTI to
remove the garbage from her school site. Her file resulted in the
removal of garbage disposal and in that particular location, a public
library has been opened up.
When the little girl came up to the stage to accept the trophy from
the actor, she was more thrilled to take Abhishek's autograph rather
than accepting the trophy. She said she was a huge fan of Aishwarya
Rai Bachchan.
At the end of the ceremony, Abhishek said: 'I feel very blessed and
humbled to lead the life that I do after knowing the kind of troubles
people go through but at the same time the positivity with which they
deal with troubles is very motivating.'
'Their zest for life is infectious. The kind of initiatives that these

way possible,' he added.
The event will be telecast on Jan 26.

Abhishek Bachchan Proud Of Aishwarya Bachpan

Bollywood Chaska News Network,IST 10:53 AM,January 21st
Abhishek Bachchan PROBABLY HAS A THING FOR GIRLS WITH THE NAME OF
Aishwarya. At the recently held CNN IBN Citizen Journalist awards,
Abhishek was amused with the sheer display of courage and smartness
showed by nine year old Aishwarya,a resident of Lucknow and a class
three student who achieved an improbable feat.

The award function was held to felicitate people who took the courage
to stand up against things they felt was wrong. Aishwarya it seems
raised her voice against the garbage dumping ground around her school
vicinity. So pissed was Aishwarya that she asked for an explanation
from the authorities. Her voice was heard and efforts recognised. The
dumping ground is now home to a huge public library. CNN IBN has aptly
appreciated her work by felicitating her.

Abhishek Bachchan too was utterly impressed. He went on to call
Aishwarya a beautiful little girl and that she has made the community
proud by her noble and brave act. Many people were felicitated at the
awards function wherein Abhishek Bachchan was the chief guest. He was
humble enough at the functions, touching the feet of the elderly award
recipients and congratulating the young and encouraging them. The show
will soon be aired on television.
