Abhishek Bachchan had recently attended an award ceremony that felicitated sixteen people for taking up a cause. Abhishek was the chief guest of the programme.The initiative was an effort by CNN IBN Citizen Journalist awards that decided to honour individuals that had the courage to stand up for  a cause. Abhishek was delighted when he came to know about the initiative of a nine-year-old girl named Aishwarya Sharma, who filed the Right to Information (RTI). Aishwarya wanted an answer for the garbage disposal site near her school. All of the sixteen individuals showed great courage to stand up against the system and raised questions. Abhishek remarked that he found the young Aishwarya to be beautiful and then he went on to say that he was extremely proud of her. Abhishek further added that the little girl displayed great courage and has been an inspiration to the masses. Aishwarya is a resident of Lucknow and is a student of class three.
